Logo Design
When we started the project, the first thing we did was communicate about what Brian and Ayleen were looking on who they wanted to attract to their business and what they were their expectations of me.
After the meeting, I started working on their logo, font and color choice. I took into consideration what they asked and researched their market. I started making color combinations and came up with the concept of “black” and “gold”
Some of the things that stood out to me when we had the first meeting was that they mentioned they wanted a “mascot” later on in the future. And they were particularly interested in a bear. That’s how we got the idea to make the logo as a “teddy bear”.
Final Logo Designs
Visual Identity
The client was looking for an audience of young adults 13 – 24 male and female. A lot of anime fans,“Kawaii culture fans” and vintage cartoon collectors. My goal was to create an identity that was fun and approachable to not only young adults but to all collectors as well. I also wanted to also showcase that nostalgic feeling by creating designs that connected with their childhood.
Print Design
The client wanted a way to show appreciation and gratitude to his customers. They also wanted a way to spread information on how customers could buy from Nostalgia Den. I created some thank you cards and business cards so the customers could know how to contact their business and how to follow them on social media.
Apparel
The client wanted a way to stand out at events and created a uniform for him and his employees
